I Love Pincushions!

I have a long standing fascination with pincushions stemming from childhood. I remember organizing the pins on my mother's pincushion by color and placing them into neat little rows. I looked forward to the aftermath of her sewing spree just to be able to reorganize those pins once again. I guess I didn't have all that much to do as a child. *grin*

I hope you enjoy seeing my latest polka dot project. Tell me if you're getting tired of them, okay? LOL

Sorry for the dark and shadowy photos. The lighting is very poor. We're currently experiencing vog due to southerly Kona winds. It has blocked out much of the sunshine making everything pretty hazy and gloomy. (If you're wondering what vog is, the word itself is derived from volcanic pollution and smog).

I've been feeling rather energetic and cheerful since I began working with my polka dot fabrics. I guess perky fabrics will do that to you. I should have pulled them out much sooner!

I'm currently hosting a giveaway for this pretty polka dot pillow. Please comment under that post (5/19) to be eligible for the giveaway.

Thank you so much for visiting with me. I hope you have a truly fabulous and creative day!

Aloha!

Polka dots, yoyos and pincushions - the world is just a bit prettier today! Thats a sweet project!

Give that bread recipe a try, Lettie - if I can do it, you can - I can't believe how well it turned out, and I'm a total newbie to working with yeast!
