Tea Tote

Do you tote your tea bags around in a plastic ziploc bag like this?

How about carrying your tea in a cute little Tea Tote like this.

I have been making Tea Totes for over 10 years. If you're a tea drinker and carry your favorite tea bags to work with you, these little totes really come in handy. They're so much cuter than a plastic bag and they're great for travelling too. They don't take up more than 3-inches of space in your handbag. I make both 2 and 4-pocket Tea Totes.

This is the inside of a 2-pocket Tea Tote. There's ample room for several sugar packets too.

The outside of the Tea Tote sports a cute little yo-yo posie.

Tea Totes make inexpensive gifts for tea drinking co-workers and they also make great table favors for tea parties and ladies luncheons.

Have a fabulous, craft-filled day!

Aloha!

What a good idea. I just thrown the tea bag packets into my bag and hope they don't burst before I want to use them. I shall definitely look at this in more detail and have a go.

Too cute! And you're right about those plastic bags being so...boring. I also think they'd make great parting gifts if you like to host tea parties. Not that I've ever been to one (although I wouldn't miss a chance if there are tons of tea sandwiches, scones and miniature treats!).

I bought a 6-pocket tea wallet at a tea shop and it's nice but kind of bulky. I like you're 2-pocket version - gotta give that a try.

Thank you so much for your nice comments. I love your work. In fact I brought a piece of fabric to work with me today so I could try out the hexagon yo-yo.

Your are just too darn smart! What a cute little tea tote. I am not a frequent tea drinker, but I was thinking they would make such a cute way for my teenage grand daughters to carry thier "feminine products" in. I also would love a tutorial. I am awful at figuring out how to make something without directions. Oh, by the way, you are going to be my new blogger of the week. TTFN

Lilly I was just going to post exactly what you posted - it's the first thing I thought of when I saw this adorable little "cozy"! I'm not much of a tea drinker, but this would be a pretty project for carrying around supplies!!! It would also be cute for carrying around those individual drink mix tubes, or a little first aid kit ... just adjust the size to suit the contents, and away we go! I'm going to try this - yours are adorable, Lettie - thanks for the inspiration!

When I travel I am always taking tea bags in my purse in those fancy dancy zippy bags....
How do we get those tea bag holders? Do you sell them?
