Toss a few buttons (Christmas themed would be really cute) near each pincushion and this could round out your table vignette.
I used a combination of the Sweet Sugarplums tutorial and the Rolled Felt Pincushion tutorial to create these playful pincushions.
I don't know if this is true for you, but the week has whizzed by very fast for me. This is about the time of year that I start thinking about Christmas. The holidays will be before us sooner than can be imagined and I feel the panic that this time of year usually brings. I have begun to think about holiday gift giving and what I will be making this year.
I think that a set of hexagon flower mug rugs would make a cute and useful gift.
I wish you a very creative and productive weekend. Just for the record, there are only 141 days until Christmas. Don't panic! Start working on those gifts today because handmade takes so much more time than store bought!
Aloha!

Take care.
141 days until Christmas! I'm also feeling the pinch and have started my gift giving list.
Your pin cushion is super cute! Thanks for the great idea.
Love the mug mats! Thanks for the reminder, too! I'm not getting caught short this year...at least, I'm not planning on it.

Hi Arlette!
I like your crafts and, in fact your blog, very very much. I wanted to let you know that I posted a crafty project on my blog yesterday that is inspired by your jeans coasters. Thank you so much for the inspiration!

Just wanted to let you know I love your blog and have linked to it in my Finnish scrapbooking/crafts blog. Thanks for preparing all these lovely tutorials.
I'll be trying the mice pincushion some day but first I'll be making yards of t-shirt yarn as I just sorted out the closets.
I love your blog, you have so much fantastic ideas.
Lettie, was just looking at your post with the pincushion you had stitched little fabric yoyos on the each of the curved sections - think it was 2009. I think you called it something about got milk?
Anyway, what kind of tips can you share for sewing a yoyo down on something? Yours looks so smooth without seeing the stitches. I figure there must be a secret to get that look!
Arlette,
I just love your blog. I missed the chance to win a floor buddy. I want so badly to give these to a friend for her birthday. I live in Georgia. Do you know where I can purchase these on the internet? I just gotta have some! Thanks, Rhonda
