TP

TP = Toilet Paper. There, I said it. I never thought that I would ever write about TP on my blog.

While moving things around in the trunk of my car, I came across this. It is a recycled drink cup that holds a half of a roll of TP. I keep it in my trunk for emergencies. If you ever find yourself needing the use of public facilities and they are out of TP, this will come in handy. It is pretty obscure and looks as if you could be toting around a cold drink.

I thought about posting this to my blog a long time ago but was a bit shy about talking about TP. I think I still am and I feel a bit red in the face as I am typing this.

The TP is dispensed from the center of the roll. Since the core is usually glued to the first sheet, I take scissors and cut the core in half and slowly ease it out, being careful not to remove too much TP in the process. I then place the TP into the cup, replace the cover, and feed the TP out through the hole.

I decided that it was about time that I make a pretty cover for my TP dispenser.

The nice thing about this dispenser is that it can also be kept in the cup holder in your car. It is very convenient to have for cleaning up little messes too.

Okay, enough said. I promise to never talk about TP on this blog again. Pinkie swear.

Aloha!

OMG! This is the cutest thing I've ever seen! I will be making one asap...I have a stack of empty Starbuck's glasses that I recycle (take back to get refilled). I shall *sacrifice* one for the TP Cause :-) And I do already have a roll of TP in my car...but not in a pretty container! Thanks for the excellent idea!

This is a great idea! Very annoying, be found wanting. Hmm...would the same concept apply to papertowels in the car?

Funny you should write about TP. I was just studying about my brand. They have gone and messed with it now. It was one of the few remaining brands that did not dissolve in your hand or stay in your private places, but it seems they are changing their formula, and now it will be doing just that.I am at a loss nowadays as to which brand to use that does not leave bits and pieces behind when used.I guess it's back to the old Sears and Roebuck catalog.(A bit off your topic, but TP was on my mind, also.)

Truly laughing out loud--with admiration and delight! Leave it to you to not only think of a clever dispenser for toilet paper, but how to decorate it, also! Lettie, I'll bet your husband doesn't sit in one place too long for fear of having a flower glued to him!

The woman never quits thinking about how to make things better. Awesome!

I'm off the find a couple of these cups. My DIL needs one for her new van. The GDs are sometimes a little messy. Also a great idea to put one in each of our vehicles. My hunter husband probably would appreciate one (but not pink, maybe camo!.

i love your idea. this is so practical and the tp in the cup helps to keep the dust away, which i usually just dumped it into my car store compartment. And the best part is, I got to show off my paper crafting to my passenger (siblings, relative, friends...woo hooo...i will be so proud).
Looking forward to tons of your practical idea.
