As my hubby passed the doorway to my sewing room and saw the newly cleaned area, he decided to venture in further to see what I was up to. I watched him as his eyes slowly scanned the perimeter of the room. Okay, when a room is too small, what do you do? You build upward, right?
(This area is located between the very top of my desk and the ceiling)
(Alongside my desk)
Well, he took one look at my mastery and blurted out, "Isn't there a law or something about height restrictions?" Ha! Ha! Silly man. I quickly informed him that since I was the only one that used the room, there would be no liability issues. He looked at me with a some-what smirky grin, made an about turn, and marched back to the living room and hasn't said a word about it since. I gotta say that his reaction was rather funny and if I hadn't created this looming tower of plastic myself, I might have reacted in the same way too.
So, just for the record, my desk is extremely sturdy so I am not worried about anything falling on top of my head. BUT!......Let me assure you, if there should be an earth quake while I'm sitting at my desk, you can bet that I'll be out of there in a flash. I'm no fool.
Have a totally awesome day!
Aloha!

No worries: I saw the lean tower of Pisa in italy..that's still standing!
You did a great job cleaning, now it's time to make things messy again and start sewing!
Ha. I have to go fix my sewing room now:) Great idea.
I always say something like: "It's this or a bigger house" and he leaves me alone:)
How neat is this!??? Looks like you got a lot accomplished!
I must say though, that if I had rearranged my storage in this fashion, hubby would tell me that he wanted to be "first in line to watch you get that box in the center"! LOL
Karen
Well, I am all for being organized and I love putting all my stuff in rubbermaids, but invariably what I need is in the bottom box. Have you decided how you are going to handle that? Well, I am sure you are so happy with your newly organized room and it makes for going in there a much happier experience...so you enjoy. You wanna come over and do my room?
Wow -- did you ever do a great job cleaning/tidying up! But I have to ask -- what will you do if you want a box that's in the middle of a stack?
My question is, what do you do if you want something in a container in the middle? Does it have a drawer that opens or is it a container with a lid. Looks like a mighty interesting stack of stuff.
Everything is sure looking good great organization! What a nice feeling to have it all in it's place (:
Hugs, Diane
What an amazing transformation! How in the world do you keep your kitty from trying to scale these newly created plastic mountains? Mine would be up there (or trying to be up there) in no time flat.
Isn't it amazing how us women can hide and store so much. Love your tower.

lol--duck and cover!
I say in a situation like this you just have to go vertical. Makes the most sense!
Wow, Lettie, that is quite a tall stack of containers. Do you have a ladder or do you just climb up on the desk to get the one you need? I am sure you have it all figured out. You are creative that way.
I can't wait to see what you come up with when you start crafting again.
Take care.
Quante belle cose!!!!! Ciao!!!
I love it! As my mom used to say, "Where there's a will there's a way!". Now, did you use a label maker?
Stay Cozy, Carrie
What a stack of projects! I love the vertical organization, great job! thanks for sharing!

Wowsers...you've gotten a lot done! So, is it time to start creating again?
Hello,
I have been reading and enjoying your blog for a little while. Your last post made me smile as I could imagine my hubby saying the same (especially as he works in Health and Safety!). Reading your blog has also made me even more motivated at trying my hand at hexies (as if I needed another project...) and I have sent a request for the GHQA2 list now. Hopefully I will be able to join to stay focus!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas/work etc

If you ever do have an earthquake, buried in fabric and sewing supplies is a great way to go! ;o)
It is great to get everything organized, isn't it? I love those plastic tubs.
Oh boy, I do the same thing! Then when I want something, of course it's in the 10th container down, and I have to pull all them down to get to it. Then I think, ok, I will put that one on top so I can get to it, then never use it for 3 months! I have had a few minor accidents, but no one was hurt! LOL! It looks great! Michelle
Husbands are funny! :))
I am clearing up my space as well and even got few empty containers!
Have a nice day!
Zlaty :)

Mu....
Great job organizing! That's what I need to do. My scraps are taking over the floor.
Lettie,
