Tiger Pops

A friend of mine loved both of my lollipops so much that she wanted me to design something easy and whimsical for her to teach the children in her daycare. Although she loved the posies, she felt that they would be too girly for the boys and wanted something more gender neutral. Well, to me, crafting with kids is synonymous with pompoms. I reached for my collection of pompoms and came up with what I call, Tiger Pops.

Lemon Pudding, Cookies & Cream, Orange Marmalade

I like the cute jingle bell sound that they make. I think the kids will love them a lot. I think I love them too.

Have a safe and productive weekend.

Aloha!

Hi Everyone! I hope you're having a fabulous weekend! I purchased these pompoms online about 7-10 years ago from either Enterprise Art or Bolek's, I can't remember. It was something that I purchased because I thought that they were cute but had no project in mind for them. At one point, I even thought about throwing them out but as usual, eventually they do end up in a project. Now I wish I purchased more. Oh well, that's how it goes sometimes.
My friend will be using plain pompom's because she plans to purchase them locally. I think they will look cute that way as well.
I have no idea what's out there in the world of pompom's because I haven't looked for any since purchasing these. For all I know, these might still be available. If anyone finds them, please give us a shout out.
Take care!

I dug around a little and found that Oriental Trading sells pompom's similar to the ones that I used. I don't know about the quality because Oriental Trading products can sometimes be, uhm, cheaply made. Anyway, I hope this will give you a start in locating the product if nothing else. I'm a bit worried about the link that I posted so if it doesn't work, just do a search on the Oriental Trading website. http://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/browse/processRequest.do?demandPrefix=12&sku=57/8003&prodCatId=377783&mode=Browsing&erec=1&Ipp=16&No=16&Ne=90000&sp=true&Ntk=all&Ntx=mode%2bmatchallpartial&N=377783&tabId=craftSupplies&requestURI=processProductsCatalog&sd=Acrylic+Safari+Pompoms
