Diet Challenge Monday

Hello everyone! It's my weekly Diet Challenge check-in day and I have only a 1/2 pound loss to report. I assume that it's because of the 2 luncheons that I attended this week and stuffed my face silly with delicious Italian food. Although a half of a pound is not much, at least there was no weight gain. To be honest, I really thought that I had gained some weight with the way that I had been eating. This is one week that I really feared getting onto the scale. Well, I won't let this slow me down. I'm still counting my calories and will get right back on track immediately.

I've also had a very non-eventful sewing week as well. Just about all of my spare time was spent reading and planning an itinerary for my Washington DC trip. There's so much that I want to see and since I will have to travel so far to see it, I really would like to see as much as I can. I love to spend time in museums so this trip will be right up my alley.

These are some of the brochures that I've been pouring through.

Take care, everyone.

Aloha!

So, by the looks of the brochures, you're going to spend about a month there, right? lol

I've never been to DC myself, though it's now only about 8 hours away. When I do go, it'll have to be for at least a week--and more than once.

When are you going?

Dear Arlette,

Hi! I finally got a chance to check your web site on the computer. As always you're always keeping yourself busy with your crafts. Terrific!.. Had a nice time seeing everybody for lunch at Ryan's on saturday. Hope that you have a nice time on your trip to Washington. Make sure to take alot of pictures, so the next time we get together you can show us of the places that you've been to.

Take Care and be careful.....

Always,
Pat O

Lettie, a loss is a loss no matter how much. You are still going in the right direction.

I know you will have a great time in Washington DC.

Take care.

Losing half a lb. is still losing. Enjoy your trip to DC - stay warm. My son lived in Hawaii - only for a year - but he sure had to get used to cold weather again even after such a short time.
