Too Many Irons in the Fire

It seems that I have too many projects going on at the same time.

I'm crocheting again. I usually crochet afghans during the winter months when the weather is a bit cooler but it seems that I am a little late this year.

Having fun playing with hexagons and joining them together in a different way this time.

Making hexagon rings. I see so many possibilities with these.

Enjoying the process of piecing half square triangle blocks.

They make such a pretty chevron pattern. One day I will make a quilt from these blocks...when I have the time, which will probably be close to never.

Hopefully there will be some completed projects around here soon because having so many unfinished ones make me a little anxious.

So much to do. So little time. I'm sure that's your story too, huh?

Aloha!

  5. I'm sure you've heard the saying "1 step forward and 2 steps back", well for me its "one project finished and two (or more) more started". The pile never ends and I tend to create UFOs. :-D Have a great day!

  10. Lettie, I understand what you are going through. I always seem to have more unfinished projects than I have finshed. I am sure you will get it all together soon.

Can't wait to see what you do with the hexagon rings. I am sure it will be something clever and creative.

    Take care.

  11. What a relief to know that someone as talented and sharing as you are also struggles to control one's projects. You make me feel SO much better! Keep up the beautiful work you do, especially when something isn't finished... yet.

  12. Pretty hexes and love the chevron quilt too. I've been working on my hex quilt for 10 years now, but I call it my forever project. I only work on it when I'm traveling or occasionally in the evenings. I know exactly how you feel when you say your anxious with so many projects going. Hang in there, you'll get ahead of the game.

  13. I love the yarn colors. I need to crochet a baby blanket. It'll be boring beige and brown. I just love color. Your other projects are great as well. I've always got a half dozen projects started.

  16. Oh, I think I am the queen of unfinished projects and I do sometimes feel anxious at having so many in various stages of completion. I am part of Sandi's Good Eggs event and am visiting your blog for the first time since she gave us a list of participating bloggers. Have a great weekend!
