In the past, I looked at paper as something flat with little dimension. I never really had all that much interest in creating with it either. I am building a new found respect for paper as I am realizing how easily it can be manipulated and transformed into many shapes. I now understand the paper addiction that so many have.
Please bear with me as I go through this paper cupcake stage. I promise that it won't last forever.
But! I gotta say, how paper frosting can look so delicious is beyond me.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for stopping by and hanging out with me on my blog. I know that I don't say this enough, but please know how thankful I am that you choose to stop by.
To my blog pals that have been with me from the very start and to all that have newly subscribed and everyone in between...thank you, thank you, thank you! I am so appreciative of your support. Without you, I probably wouldn't continue to experiment and create as much as I do.
I hope you are having an amazing day!

Your blog is such an inspiration, even though I'm not into making things of paper. But just knowing how creative one can be, with nearly anything, gives me encouragement. Thank you for sharing with us!
ReplyDeleteMy amazing day is being spent with our newest, six week-old grandson. What a blessing to be able to love the next generation.
Thanks for the inspiration you provide! I have followed your blog for a little while. I was inspired to make a pincusion for a freinds for Christmas. She had just started sewing and loved your pattern.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit my first love was fabric (after all I come from a long line of quilters and my mother was a seamstress) and i still have stacks to do something with. Then I was struck by the paper bug and have stacks and stacks of it too.
I am always struck by the similarities of the two. You can fold, cut, sew and glue both and make beautiful and lasting things from both.
I say we keep out obsessions with all things fabric and paper and go and make all kinds of good things! Thanks again for the inspiration!
I loved your blog and would like to put their jobs on my blog with due credits.

A friend introduced me to your blog yesterday and do you know how much housework/cooking/sewing I have done since - a big fat NONE. I find your blog so exciting and incredible. I don't know how you can think up so many different projects. I've just been food shopping and what am I doing now - folding my plastic shopping bags into triangles - yep, I saw it on your blog.
