I would like to thank you all for your opinion about the placement of the yo-yo posie. I do understand about the left/right shoulder thing too but I was hoping to go with which design was more pleasing to the eye. After going over your comments, I have concluded that it is 50/50 either way. If I'm going to be the tie breaker, I guess I will have to go with the posie on the right.
I am left handed and a true right brainer and sometimes I feel as if it makes a difference as to what is pleasing to my eye as opposed to someone who is right handed and left brained. It would be interesting to know how many of you are left handed/right brained or right handed/left brained. If you have a moment, I would love to know if you are left or right handed and if the posie on the left or the right is more pleasing to your eye. I'm kinda wondering if my crackpot theory has any validity.
Over the years, my yo-yo lollipops have been very popular with my customers. I'm happy to see that it has also been very well liked by many of you. I would like to introduce you to my Flower Power Daisy Pops which have been even more popular than the yo-yo's. I usually make these in the bright, fluorescent colors reminiscent of the flower power days of the 60's.
Electric Strawberry and Psychedelic Lime. Here they are without the glare of their plastic bags.
And here they are wrapped in their plastic bags and ready to be hung on the Christmas tree. I was having quite a bit of trouble getting a good shot because of the glare of the plastic bags. Oh well, At least this will give you a vague idea of what they look like in person.
I hope you all have a wonderful day. Toodles.
Aloha!
Just the mention of flower power takes me back to my youth. The good old days. I wonder what I did with my peace symbol necklace.
ReplyDeleteBye the way, I love the daisy pops!
Oh, and I am right handed.
The flower power lollipops are too much fun! Definitely takes me back. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm right-handed and prefer the flower on the left, although I do like both.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI didn't get back to your blog soon enough to vote. I prefer the posie on the left side. Perhaps you might make a few of each if it's not too difficult to change it out.
I am amazed by such pretty things that you make. I make yo yo coasters to sell on Etsy; but, they're nowhere near as pretty as the things you make.
I'm going to do my first craft fair here in SW MO in early October. My husband has been out of work; so, I'm using it up, wearing it out, making it do, and doing without. I'm going to recycle some things, make some things over, and of course use up lots of things that I have in my craft stash.
I have a couple of questions about your lollypop posies. Do you put fiberfill in them like you do with some of your other posies? Are they two sets of petals put together with two yo yos to finish them, or one set of petals with two yo yos to finish them?
Thank you so much for taking time to answer my questions.

Oops! I forgot to tell you that I'm right handed and like the left posy.

Lettie they say what goes around comes around. When I gave a class at our Teatime Embroidery Club last year on yo yos because you can make so many things with them then just a quilt top. Then at a Quilt Study meeting I gave a lecture on Yo yos, They all thought I was crazy. Because Clover has come out with there yo yo makes I enjoy making them again. Useing these gadgets it is easier on my arthritis hands. When I made the Flower Power Flowers I had a Smily face in the center.
ReplyDeleteI am right handed and I like the flower on the left.

They look so yummy yummy. Delicious. Think I have to buy myself a yoyo maker soon LOL
ReplyDeleteYour lollipops are so cute. I have to make some f my own soon. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI have got the yoyo maker now...
I'm rigth handed and think I want to put the flower on the left.
Have a great day.
I'm right-handed and I think I like the posy on the left, but I don't dislike the posy on the right!
ReplyDeleteLove the daisy pops.
I am left-handed, but I knit and crochet with my right hand if that make a difference, and I like the posy on the left.
ReplyDeleteI love the posy pops they are so pretty!

I find that I am picking the right sided placement but think that is because I like the colors in the bag better. To make a really valid decision, we should choose between 2 bags made of the same fabrics with the only variation being which side the posey is on.
ReplyDeletethanks for a great blog and wonderful projects. You are so creative.

I am right handed and I like it better on the left. I have been through some of those psych test and I usually come out "whole brained" smack down in the middle between left and right.
ReplyDeleteThe Posy Pops are so cute! I am right handed and liked the posie on the left, but as someone else commented, it may be because I prefer the fabrics of that one.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving these Posy Pops. The bright colors are so full of happiness!
